shooting straight lines

I'm getting a lot of those instances of randomly appearing straight lines shooting across the frame as I draw. It's been so long that this used to happen to me that I have forgotten the remedy. Is there anybody here who has the answer?

I don't want to get into an us and them war here, but I must come to the defense of Steve Bowie. You perhaps didn't catch all the posts on my Good bye thread (maybe you never saw the entire thread?) but Steve did give an explanation. And most importantly, all of this came as a huge surprise to Steve...

OK, being the grouch I am, and this is something I had been repeatedly asking for when I was a beta-tester over here, when working (playing) with the Pencils and brushes in the Tool Bin there is nothing that indicates which tool you have selected, such as the highlighting of the active button in the...

For instance? Give us a few. The entire Animator Panel, but new to us in particular is the Navigation section. The shaker tool that shakes the layer tou are sitting on so you can find your bearings. The Flipbook is SO useful that I'd like to know who's idea it was. A note to that one: You can change...

Sharing discoveries with Mirage necomers

Here's an example of one of the numerous pleasant little surprises I come across as I work: When I cut a brush and use my key command for Brush: Rotate, the cutout remains in view while rotating. FINALLY!!!

Another one: When sitting on a hidden layer (red turned on) the layer remains hidden.

Good point, Klaus. Just look at what has happened to the prices of NLEs. Vegas is down to $300 and can be had for $ 180 if one searches out some of the deals. DPS/Leitch has kept their prices high and they are in the cloud of irrelevancy. Vegas is rapidly growing in popularity.

The TVP offer of a discount for us Miragers is still twice the price of what Mirage used to be, but considering that there was no development of Mirage going on at Bauhaus, who's to complain? My intuition says that if TVP sold for far less there would be legions of more takers and the payoff should ...

A few posts back I wrote this:

I'm excited with TVPaint. I copied my configs from mirage under Aplication Data into TVPaint and it works!! The splash screen even showed up black and I have my mirage plugins sitting right there. This is far out!!!

Yes you can if you had exported them in Mirage as a bin. If you haven't then open Mirage and and export them. You can keep Mirage open and switch to TVP and import them. Both programs are interchangeable.

Nope. You can even have both running at the same time. You can't save anything from it though but you can import any of your existing Mirage projects and fool around with them without fear because it can't get saved even by mistake.
