Afin de récupérer le nouveau panneau Tool Presets v2, faites un clic-droit sur le panneau Tool Presets > ce panneau > Détruire.
Puis redémarrez le logiciel.

You can actually use Auto Paint to get this result.
In the "Stroke" parameter choose "Size", it will give your stroke the size you want. In other words, a head and a tail.

If you are not using the Gradient Group, you can only change the color of the light, not the shadow. The only way to change the shadow color in the Highlight is in the Gradient Group.

Yes, the idea is to change only the color B into color A, and leave the other surrounding colors untouched.
However, it works only with colors with full opacity and power, be careful not to use AAliasing for that matter.

Actually the Toon Shading FX allows you to cast a shadow inside your character, on the contrary the Drop Shadow will cast a shadow outside of it.

FX Stack > Add FX > Stylize > Toon Shading
