yeah. selectable workspaces for common tasks would clean up the u.i for the new users and those who want to perform specific tasks such as creating 1.a basic story board 2. 2d animatic in rough sketches the wizard or selection panel would have options for resolution such as pal16:9 or ntsc or hd720 ...

got the wacom delivered today..it's a5 size surface..pretty good so far
come bundled with PS elements 5[pc and 4[mac] pluas art rage 2.5 for pc and mac.

just tested it with tv paint..works fine :D

it's A5 size...

would that be okay for TVPaint?
...i'd be upgrasding from a VERY old wacom slate a6!

i'm holding off on a tablet pc to see what apple delivers in january....

been looking at a toshiba portege m200 does anyone have a view on using this for tv paint in regards drawing and animating with tv paint ands this pc? looking at a factory re furb...looks nice n cheap but would like a second opinion if possible in regards the capability of the touch screen ... steve g

there's things you can do to get open gl back upto speed in vista including rolling it back to xppro if you REALLY have to! [vista ultimate only] i'll be trying it 'as is' for a start on my new pc when it turns up but will most probably be turning off aero graphics and turning the u.i. theme back to...

you can turn off the account manager and all the 'glossy' rubbish in vista..i have vista 32bit business at work and i'm slowly turning it back into a more usable pc with disabling many so called 'features' of vista. def go n kill super fetch as it'll murder your hard drive...make it work overtime fo...
