Re: ✏️Good Pencils?✏️
I'm quite happy already with the recent brush engine. I spend quite some time in creating brushes, but I never had the feeling that I've "maxed out" it.

Kindernothilfe Game Changer Week 2023: Greece
Totally forgot to show off what I did this summer (and last summer as well), I'm quite busy with commercial work. https://www.kindernothilfe.de is a well-established german charity, they organize projects all over the world to help children. To raise awareness for their case, for 3 years now they di...

Re: Brushes for doing caricatures
I'm not aware that there's dedicated caricature brushes, since there's more than one style to caricature. If you could show an example of the style you're looking for?

Re: How can i flip coloring layer stripes.
Be aware that there's a flip view, and a flip image command. Select the frames you want to flip and apply the latter, it's in the image menu.

Re: Video Layer
I've noticed that I only need a very small portion of a video reference anyway, a second or two, so for me it makes sense to really import the video, truncate it, then save as TVP file which is not that large at all. Additionally I've found that often I only need a reference on 2's, so changing that...

change sketch panel blue
My workflow is quite speedy with key commands for "make blue", "erase blue" and "make black" from the sketch pannel. But I found that this blue is too opaque when used for inbetweenig with light table. I tried to make it 50% opaque: Duplicated the "make blue" ...

OK, since I made that mistake just recently: those are not empty frames in the original?

This is great! But It seems that starting with the dog jump everything is in slow motion?

Re: Any plans for TVpaint 12? will it adopt AI technology?
Oh please. There is no such thing as "AI tools", especially not for 2D animation. There have been attempts to automatic inbetweening (so far no success) and semi-automatic coloring (may work in certain settings). Other than that there's no tools available right now. I could imagine some AP...

Re: Coloring "rough" drawings-Open lines all over
Oh, that's a good trick, it avoids most of the unfilled sharp corners you get when using the fill tool with a larger gap closing value from inside.
In the end you will end up using a combination of everything anyway!

Re: Coloring "rough" drawings-Open lines all over
TVP's fill tool and CTG layers can help you only so far that they can close smaller gaps. Rough drawings or any rough line animation style needs to be colorized by hand. Some options: - If it's only temporary I'll use a really large and fluffy brush. Good enough to block out BG elements, fast in app...
