Keyboard shortcuts for the Thumbnail View and back to the regular Timeline?

Post by Lukas »

Hi everyone,
  • Is there a way to set a shortcut to view the Project: Thumbnail View (the one that shows a thumbnail per clip)?
  • And is there a way to set a shortcut to switch back to the Clip: Timeline (regular view?)
I can't find them, is it possible with George? I couldn't find any commands, but I might have missed something...

In the "Configure Keyboard Shortcuts" dialog (ctrl-k), the shortcuts for showing the Project and Timeline tabs of are called "Interface->Open Project Panel" and "Interface->Open Timeline Panel."
To set up a single key to toggle by sending alternating keystrokes, you could use AutoHotkey (Windows) or ControllerMate (macOS).
