The tutorials available on Youtube are the exact same as the Elephorm ones.
Due to our past agreement with Elephorm, we can't have them taken down from their website yet.
Okay, thank you so much! Are there any plans to resume the User's Experience with TVPaint interviews on Youtube? like these ones:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz3FEAArtfM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHyLhZDhUOI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYYi7Qgm4TM

and also something similar to The Gigglebug Behind-The-Scene series?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9xnxPMVV1M
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR1vUaYqOIg

Thanks. I apologize if this is too much, but it's just so inspiring to watch other people's process on your Youtube channel. :)

Hello again,
It is currently impossible for us to go abroad and meet people from studios to do interview with them.
However, recently we have been posting some shorter videos of professionals sharing their experience with TVPaint from home for our IGTV project :) We are so grateful for these.

Here is a quick video showing how to use the SHARPEN mode in TVPaint 11.5.3 to fix blurry line quality . This is a feature in TVPaint that not many people seem to know about , but it's very useful. This is TVPaint's equivalent to the Sharpen Filter in Photoshop. It's actually better than Photoshop's Sharpen filter in my opinion because it allows you to selectively apply the sharpening to only a portion of a drawing if you prefer by drawing over only certain lines using the Pen tool , or you can apply the sharpening to the entire drawing by using the Filled Rectangle tool set to Sharp mode.

=======

How to customize the workspace in TVPaint. (sorry for the annoying rumbling noise from the mic.) To declutter the interface you can press the 0 key as a shortcut to instantly 'Toggle (hide) the Timeline and Layer Panel' or you can set another key to the shortcut 'Close/Restore L+R Drawers and Timeline', which will hide everything except the drawing canvas window. (I use the J key, but you can set that shortcut to whatever available key you prefer). OR if you have TVPaint PRO you can set up four different Rooms (workspaces) , each one configured differently depending on what you need in each workspace and easily switch between rooms by using a keyboard shortcut.

Setting up the FLIPS panel .
More detailed information here: https://paperless-animation.blogspot.co ... pping.html

This is a brief demonstration of setting up FLIPS panel in TVPaint to use different keyboard shortcuts for flipping between KEYS Only (keyboard shortcut F) , flipping between KEYS and BREAKDOWNS (keyboard shortcut G), and flipping between ALL drawings (keyboard shortcut H) . You can use any keyboard shortcuts you want, I just happen to like using F, G, and H.

These are not "tutorials on how to use TVPaint" as such , in terms of delving into detail of how all the tools work, but watching these animation demonstrations do show the process of animating a scene in TVPaint. These are real-time demonstrations (using TVPaint) by animator James Baxter.

For new users who may be unaware of these videos I wanted to mention Terrence Walker's excellent "TVPaint Particle Magic" tutorials. Even though these were made years ago in TVPaint 9.5 the material is still relevant in TVPaint 11.7 because the Particles FX hasn't changed. It's a powerful tool , but can be intimidating to learn. Terrence's tutorials take the mystery out of it. Highly recommended.

Svengali wrote: 28 Feb 2015, 15:57 The website, Ctrlpaint.com was created by Matt Kohr. It is a Photoshop oriented site that offers hundreds of free, bite-sized tutorials sorted into extremely well thought-out categories. Each lasts about five minutes, often referring to other, earlier tutorial content.

In addition, he monetizes his efforts by offering a collection of ten or more bundled, advanced, in-depth tutorials which can be subscribed to (@ $10.00 a pop).

In addition to the organization, Matt is a master of presentation with friendly, well thought out, conversational narratives. Each tutorial features visual examples and recorded painting demonstrations that "show" as much as "tell".

The entire site demonstrates what software tutorials could be.
