Hi folks,
Today TVPaint Devt is releasing the famous plugin which allows direct support for Newtek's LightWave3D®, very useful to enhance surface texture maps using TVPA&AP painting abilities.

Install :
Unzip the file and place the obtained DLL in your Plugin directory.
Then launch the software, RMB on the Custom Panel's button and choose Load a New Toolbar.
Browse into your system in order to select the lwvd.bin file, then press OK.
A new Custom Panel will appear including the button that will allow to launch the plugin.
Have fun !

Here it is :)

How to install it ?

Download and unzip the file by double clicking it, this should give you a LWViewer.bundle folder.

Find where you installed TVPA[P], most probably /Applications .

Right click on it's icon (not the icon of a shortcut or the one in the dock), and select "Show package content", this should open a new finder window.

Go into Contents/Resources/Plugins, and copy the LWViewer.bundle there.

That's it, now it appears in TVPA[A]>Window>Plugins.

Enjoy !

Thank you for the quick response making a intel-mac version available! I followed your instructions for installing and can now run it from windows>plug-ins. My new job a Edinboro University of PA has required learing Lightwave and this tool looks like it will be very useful.

Where can I find some instructions for actually using the LW viewer plugin?

William, I'd think that since TVP bought Mirage, everything connected in the past to this product, its name, its plugins, manual etc., belongs now to TVP with the exception of the Bauhaus forums and the accumulated knowledge base, which is a pity.
