Easier rotation Out-of-Pegs

Post by Kramme »

Hey everyone,
Is there and easier way to rotate something(for example when using out of pegs lighttable or transform tool) than to grab the circle in the right side of the selection?
Image
It would be nice not to have to zoom out to see the whole frame in order to rotate, especially with the out of pegs tool since it takes the whole size of the project.
If this is not possible then this topic is a feature request for a way to rotate the out of pegs lighttable without having to go to the side of the image.
:)

Yes : combine : [CTRL] + [Alt] to make appear an animator desk. Then, rotate with LMB (left mouse button)

I advise you to watch the video above.

Thank you Elodie, but I meant rotating the actual light table, like this:

Oops sorry !

I don't think this is possible. If so, it's an interesting feature request :)

I remember, following many discussions on a subject, this was already a feature request some time ago, and everybody agreed we need an upgrade on this. I can't find it right now, but I think it was on the TO DO list. Wasn't it? If not - it definitely must be a Feature Request (again? :) )
The transformation controls both in Transform tool and Out Of Pegs tool must be accessible at any zoom level, not just on the edge of the bounding box. Also it should be possible to change the rotation pivot center.

There are so many things to add, sometimes we forget some of them

(and maybe it was before we created a "bug tracker engine" at TVPaint's office, to track all bugs and Feature requests and avoid any loss).

Let me check :)

Edit : check done, no entry about this. Let me add it :)

Fantastic!
Thanks, Mads
here is another one: http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php? ... t=+handles
and a bit more: http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php? ... out#p67687

Please make sure you implement it both on the Transform and on the Out Of Pegs handles.

Just not the "urgent" feature is only the possibility to rotate without click on the handle.

Other features are either very long or hard to add.
