ADD Resolution Filter

Post by Paris Fox »

I plan on using CB paint 2 for Forensic work having to do with Crime Scene investigation for a government agency. It would be nice to have a RESOLUTION FILTER which would add resolution PIXELS by interpolation. This would help to clean up grainy video by not only decreasing the grain but adding pixels to the image that never existed in the original video.

Hello Paris,

Can I have a little more details about this filter, please, I don't really understand its work. Have you maybe an example?

Hi Mike,

Thank you for listening! When I speak of a RESOLUTION FILTER I am talking about a utility that would actually add resolution to the image if it was shot on Standard Definition.

I know on other systems you can up-rez a DV signal to HDTV resolution. In this RESOLUTION FILTER you could interpolate the pixels that do not yet exist and fill them in to ADD resolution to the image.

Ok, I understand better.

The idea can be interesting.
I note it on the list of all the features that could be done/added ... but I'm afraid that it won't be at the top the list :)
