Tell us what you want to see in the next video tutorials ...

Post by fabrice_ »

Hi all,

A few basic tutorials for the newbies are quite ready now. (rotative drawing disc, lighttable, etc ...)

But we still need to know if you have special requests regarding more advanced tutorials. For instance, tutorials about Wrapping Grid FX and Autopick Color Option are planed, because we have a lot of questions regarding these cool features in the forum.

Tell us if you need something else ...

Very good news!
First thing that comes to my mind is a tutorial about the motion key framer and how to work with splines etc.

My top three have been mentioned in the previous two posts:

  • 1.) Key Framer
    2.) Spline Tool
    3.) Wrapping Grid
one more I'd like to see a comprehensive tutorial on is
  • 4.) X-sheet

Simple GRG Scripts!

Post by djm99001 »

I would like to see some simple GRG scripts and custom toolbar/buttons demonstrated.

-I wanted to assign colors to keys, so that I could do three-color sketches quickly (assign blue, orange, and yellow to three keys, for example) without having to make new brushes for each color, but I couldn't figure out how to change colors with custom actions.

-Can I write a GRG script that will sample the color I'm clicking on at the start of a stroke, and make a calculated adjustment (e.g. double the saturation) and continue the stroke in the new color? I'm not sure of the practical application of something like this but it seems interesting.

-Can I write a GRG script that will let me mimic "layer styles" in Photoshop? I would like to use the filled freehand shape tool to make a shape, and then automatically and immediately reapply that shape with new parameters.

Thanks!!!!

Hey guys!
I am working on some video tutorials at the moment, that should be completed in the next week or so.

I'll be going through some animation lessons, -setting up custom commands and toolbars, using the FX stack, keyframer and Multiplane.

It will be a little while before I get to play with TVP..
I'm really honored to be part of the Beta Team!
So, back to work for me.. but stay tuned!

I would like to echo the posts above. Is there any news on this front?

some in depth Multi Plane Camera tutorials would be nice...

I would love to see some "pro" tutorials on the particles system and some more advice on the "lense flare" fx could be handy... :)
